PESO MODEL
The PESO model stands for Paid, Earned, Shared, and Owned media. It's a framework used in marketing to categorize and strategize different types of media channels for promoting content, products, or services.
Paid Media refers to any marketing effort that requires payment to place your content in front of an audience. This includes traditional advertising, pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, sponsored content, and social media ads.
Earned Media is exposure you earn through word-of-mouth, buzz, or viral campaigns. It can include press coverage, social media mentions, reviews, and recommendations from others.
Shared Media involves sharing content through social media platforms, forums, and by leveraging influencers. It's essentially the social aspect of your online presence where content can be shared by you and your audience.
Owned Media is any web property that you control and is unique to your brand. This includes your website, blogs, email newsletters, and social media profiles.
